Please take note of the following guidelines and tips for traveling to the beautiful Brian Head area:
Our Property sits at 9700 ft elevation, so it is important to take into account the possibility of altitude illness and how to prevent it from affecting your vacation.
*Stay well hydrated during your travels. It is best to begin hydrating the day before your arrival at Brian Head.
*Stop in one of the towns below to have a meal, that will ensure you are not making the climb on an empty stomach and give everyone a chance to start to acclimate to the altitude change as the towns below are approximately 6,000 ft elevation.
*Take lots of Vitamin C, it will help you adjust more quickly.
Due to heavy snowfall during the winter months, driving to our property may require chains/cables or 4WD/AWD. Please monitor the weather for the area on your travel dates. For the most accurate conditions please use www.noaa.gov (Zip Code-84719). We always recommend traveling to our property with the appropriate provisions for winter driving conditions regardless of the weather forecast.
We do have a limited gift shop however if you are arriving late at night be advised that the restaurants and stores in our town close an early hour, so you may want to have a meal before heading up the mountain. Feel free to call us in advance to find out the closure times of our local businesses, as they change from season to season.

“ I spent one night in a condo in Brian Head. That was a totally unacceptable place, and so I checked into the Best Western for the remaining 5 nights of my stay there. What a contrast. The Best Western was superb. The room was large, quiet and well appointed. The front desk staff and the cleaning personnel were pleasant to deal with and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and stress free. I am not sure how long this hotel has been open, but it appeared to be recent construction. If there was any concern, it would be in the restaurant. The menu appeared to be abbreviated due to the fact that the hotel was just coming out of the COVID-19 lock downs. But I am sure that will improve during the winter.”

“ The hotel has great aesthetics and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is helpful and friendly. Clean room with a great view. Good food at a great price. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from city life. Definitely coming back. ”

“ This is a wonderful motel/hotel with great character: it resembles the old lodges built by the railroads in the 19th and early 20th century. Our room was well furnished and designed. A good restaurant is part of the facility. It's under new ownership, and we thought the service was excellent. The supervisor for housekeeping gets a special applause for her customer service. Thank you!”
